 note = {デザインチーム”DESIGN SOIL”は、”epilogue – prologue”というテーマでSalone SatelliteとTIDE EXHIBITIONに2年連続で出展を果たした。また、昨年度発表した学生作品が、TIDE EXHIBITIONでの展示をきっかけに、フランスの展示会の出展作品に選定される等、展示会出展を通して世界的な評価を獲得する事ができた。
展示会の出展とそこに至るプロセスを通して、学生たちは高いハードルに対して果敢に挑み、努力してハードルを乗り越えていった。ミラノ・サローネ後に大学内で行った展示会を学生主体で作り上げる際に、展示会出展を含むDESIGN SOILの活動で得た知識や経験を遺憾なく発揮した。また、DESIGN SOILの学生メンバーはプロダクトデザイン学科の卒展展示に際して中心的な役割を担い、展示デザイン、会期中の運営や搬入・搬出のオペレーションに至るまで、展示会全体を高い質で作り上げてくれ、DESIGN SOILの活動が教育的に高い意義がある事を確認する事ができた。
今後は、大学全体の教育に還元する活動にも力を入れ、大学でのデザイン教育の向上に寄与できる活動としていきたい。, A design team “DESIGN SOIL” participated in Salone Satellite and TIDE EXHIBITION for the second consecutive year with the theme “epilogue – prologue”. And a student work was selected for an exhibition in France because of showing at TIDE EXHIBITION. DESIGN SOIL is regarded with worldwide esteem like this.
Student members of DESIGN SOIL risked failure in order to pursue a higher goal and got over the tasks in an effort. They showed their experience that they got through DESIGN SOIL activities including participating exhibitions when they design an exhibition at the university.
There is more to it. They took the central role in graduate exhibition of Dept. of Product Design. Display configuration, operation and arrangement of preparation or installation, they made all of which high quality. It proved that the activities of DESIGN SOIL have enormous significance in education.},
