 note = {アートプロジェクトとして本研究の一環として行うワークショップ、アートイベントなどを介して、芸術系大学教育における地域密着型のアートプロジェクトを持続的に行うことの教育的意義とその効果について知見を得ることを目的とした研究を報告する。
 本学では「瀬戸内国際芸術祭2013」に「沙弥島アートプロジェクト」として参加し、続いて「瀬戸内国際芸術祭2016」に向けて現地調査、ワークショップ運営など実践的な研究活動を行いながら、作品制作や様々な方法で芸術祭の春会期に参加した。
 沙弥島アートプロジェクトのテーマを「三つの赤」とし、6点の新たな作品を現地制作した他、多くのワークショップなどを行った。同時に、授業として取り組んだ学生主体のワークショップなどによる制作も学内などで行われた。イベントやアート作品の制作は、会場のある坂出市と沙弥島の地域の特徴や歴史を基にしている。
 本学学部生と大学院生が授業の形式やボランティアスタッフとして参加した「沙弥島アートプロジェクト」は、地域に住む方々と共同して研究と制作を進め、学生に多くの貴重な体験的学習をもたらした。, In this paper, we would like to report some findings regarding the educational significance and its positive effects of the sustainable engagement with community-based projects at art & design universities by assessing our own art events and workshops as a part of this research.
 As Shamijima Art Project, our KDU team participated in Setouchi Triennale 2013 and 2016 (Spring slot) which involved the presentation of our own artworks and some other activities such as field work and workshops prior to the triennale.
 This year’s Shamijima Art Project theme was ‘Three Shades of Red’ and six bodies of work were created on the spot as well as numerous related workshops and events. In addition, some student-led collaborative works were also produced as a part of the department’s classes. All these artworks and related events mentioned here were created based on the region and its history of Shamijima (Sakaide city).
 Both graduate and undergraduate students participated in some of these activities in collaboration with the locals,which brought them an engaging learning experience.},
