 note = {近年、建築とファッションの相関性について取り上げられることが多くなった。建築もファッションも、どちらもまず身体を覆うシェルターであり、同じ時代精神や文化的価値観によって立つ社会的規範である。さらに実際に建築家とファッションデザイナーのコラボレーションが増えたという背景がある。しかし最も重要なのは、作品の本質であるコンセプトとデザインプロセス自体が接近してきているということである。 
本論文では、こうした形態システムのレベルでの両者の関係を考察するために2007年に開催された「スキン＋ボーン」展を取上げる。これは実際の作品を提示した研究としては、近年最も本格的な試みであった。 
展覧会の構成において、キュレーターのブルック・ホッジは脱構築という概念を中心においている。しかし会場でのプレゼンテーションだけでは具体的なプロセスを理解するには不足していたように感じる。そこで改めてホッジの意図を読解し、展覧会に含まれない作品を分析したうえで、「変形」という生成方法を提示するものである。, Recently, the correlation between architecture and fashion were argued.
