 note = {昨年度掲載論文の流れを受け、本稿では神戸芸術工科大学における英語教育の現況につき報告すると共に、本学の基礎教育・初年次教育全体における英語（外国語）教育の位置づけについて、論を続けていく。
まず前号論文以後に展開された2010年度の英語科カリキュラム改訂のねらいと現状について、大学院の状況も合わせて述べる。次に、学生への指導方針の手がかりとして、「ニホン英語」の考え方について、その概要と授業での実践例を紹介する。
最後に、英語の授業の一環として行った企画や指導した学生の活躍などを採り上げると共に、「英語（語学）以前の問題」への全学としての取り組みの必要性につき論じたい。, This paper is the sequel to the one published last year.The purpose of the paper is to explain the present situationof English education at Kobe Design University, and tocontinue its discussion on the positioning of English orforeign language education.The author explains the aims and present situation ofEnglish curriculum reform, with current state of the graduate program. Then he introduces the idea of NihonEigo (Japanese English) as the possible key to the guidingprinciple for students. Finally, the author introduces someof his attempts in the class and the success of students hesupervised, and discusses about the necessity for theuniversity as a whole to tackle the problem “beyond”English/language education.},
