Here, we conducted a practical study that deepens educational values through the establishment and implementation of a university education program that is linked to the production area and leads to the improvement of the high added value of Banshu-ori and revitalization of local industry.\n\nWe established and implemented a program aiming to acquire the three skills: creativity, prototyping, and communication skills. As for the creative skills, students focused on the material known as cotton, which is a characteristic of Banshu-ori, and performed cotton cultivation. Regarding the prototyping skills, students produced clothes using Banshu- ori and presented them at an event in Kita Harima as an effort to acquire the ability to create prototypes and revitalize Banshu-ori production. Students held a weaving workshop using a simple loom for elementary school students and adults to acquire communication skills.\n\nStudents were able to acquire the above three skills in this program, and we seem to be able to establish an educational program that could be put into practice.
